Situated on the tourist route between Waipoua Kauri Forest and Trounson Kauri Park, The Sanctuary is situated amidst breath-taking scenery.

You can easily find us in the historic village of Donnellys Crossing.  We offer a fully self-contained Cottage with single / double and twin rates.

Your accommodation is your private retreat and offers comfortable facilities you deserve.  At night curl up in your warm bed and enjoy the sounds of the country.  Nothing can come close to the peace of living at one with nature and nature's God.

In The Area

The Sanctuary is situated in a spectacular location, close to some of New Zealand's hidden treasures.  These include glow worms, Pouto Peninsula, Kai Iwi Lakes, the Northland Brown Kiwi, Opononui, Skydome Obsevatory, Baylys Beach, Dargaville township, beautiful walk-ways, The Kauri Museum and Waipoua Kauri Forest (housing Tane Mahuta, New Zealand's oldest kauri tree).
